Privacy Policy
Effective July 27, 2026. SousHire is in invite-only beta; if this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app.
What we collect
- Your account email and name, from the sign-in provider you choose.
- The job-search profile you enter: target titles, locations, compensation floor, and the companies you say yes or no to.
- The resume you upload, if you choose to upload one.
- Your activity in the app: approvals, skips and their reasons, and the application stages you track on the board.
- Basic technical logs needed to run and debug the service.
How we use it
Everything we collect is used for one thing: running your job search. Your profile and resume are used to score job postings for fit, draft tailored resumes from your own resume content, and notify you about progress. Your approve and skip feedback tunes scoring for your account only. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
AI processing
Scoring and resume parsing use a large language model API (currently Anthropic). Job posting text, your search profile, and a summary of your resume are sent to that API to produce scores and drafts. We do not use your data to train models. Resume drafting only selects and rephrases content from the resume you provided; it never invents employers, titles, dates, or skills.
Where your data lives
Data is stored in a Postgres database and private file storage hosted by Supabase, and the app runs on Fly.io. Access is scoped to your account: row-level security means your data is only readable by you and the pipeline working on your behalf. Our service providers (Supabase, Fly.io, Anthropic) process data only to provide their services to us.
Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can update or remove your resume and profile in the app at any time. To export your data or delete your account and everything attached to it, email help@soushire.com and we will handle it promptly.
